They were already doing well financially, but with more and more gachas coming out I feel like a differentiator like Skins will keep the momentum for Raid. I also think this is how Raid stays relevant. So if I can throw a new skin on and watch a new baddie looking champ do a dungeon run in it then I'm all for it. I won't pay for them, but the art is what drew me into the game and what continues to impress me. I still like the game, so you could say I'm just waiting on the next big thing. When I get shards I pull them right away because, well, idc. I hoard energy, barely do dailies, and just hit CB and FW.
That said, I'm in a collector/I-don't-care-phase of the game. I have Ramantu and about 2 weeks away from Mithrala, so I have no goals to work towards unless I want to push for Plat (which I won't do unless reset time changes). I've played the game for almost 3 years and spent a fair bit whaling in year 1-2, so I beat every content relatively easily. About a month or two ago I posted about how I, personally, would love the addition of skins to the game.
